The Garden is in. The recent New Mexico wild fires are extinguished. The monsoons have arrived. The band is rehearsed. New songs are in the line up. The web site is updated through the rest of the summer. The car is packed. The Chouse awaits us in Norman on Sunday after the festival winds down. Our politicians in Washington are beyond belief... and although I don't like to take sides too often I'm going to focus this criticism squarely on the shoulders of the Republican Party. To all my Republican friends out there (and I have many ... that I love dearly): please talk some sense into those boys and girls of yours in Washington!
