Notes From the Road
5-31-08 Beautiful Blur of Spring... I think
It's hot enough now to move back outside for the summer... but even as of early June we still got frost at night. Not enough to kill the garden... thankfully. So it was still late winter here until a few days ago. The garden is a large focus this time of year... and mountain bike riding... and outdoor gigs, including my first time playing the Taos Plaza (Thursday June 5th with Lewis, DonCon & Turnmire) and some much anticipated (by me) shows in the Baltimore/Annapolis/D.C. area including one on a boat, literally, in Shady Side MD... see the Key of Sea Concert in the Shows section. Then it's back to Taos for some fun gigs with the new trio... then off to Woody Fest
A June highlight was getting to whitewater raft The Taos Box... a sixteen-mile, all day trip over class III and IV rapids into the deepest part of the Rio Grande Gorge. Many thanks to Bob and his crew at Native Sons Adventures and a Happy spring/summer to you all. Wishing You All Peace and a Return to Democracy. DonCon
