Notes From the Road
5-5-08 I Almost Didn't Survive The Taos Crud
I picked up a virus on my way out of Taos to play a few shows in Texas. Very Scary! The concerts were wonderful, miraculously, since I didn't eat or sleep for the four days and nights I was on tour. Thanks so much to my hosts and friends for keeping me alive long enough to crawl home and collapse for two weeks afterwards. I'm back to the local Taos music scene which makes me happy. We inducted my good friend and awesome drummer/percussionist Patrick Turnmire (Southside Paddy Turnmire) into the jazz project with Aaron Lewis...A.K.A. The Ho Dads. We'll be focusing on latin/Blues/groove tunes...original and otherwise. Let the dancing begin.
Wishing you all the best and hoping you don't catch the crud anytime soon.
