I didn't know this night was being recorded and only found out when I was hanging out with Eddie at the bar a couple nights later. It's basically what you'd call a "board tape". My buddy Mike Lapchick in Chicago mastered it and added a little oxygen and it sounds stellar. I'm so glad to have something that documents my relationship with what was my home club for so many years. My acoustic music phase was almost entirely shaped by my time there and the interaction with my friends in that musical community which included some pretty amazing artists...Shawn Mullins, Gerard McHugh, Matthew Kahler, John Mayer, Kristian Bush, Caroline Aiken, Dede Vogt, Indigo Girls, Kristen Hall, Michelle Malone, Martin Kearns, Michael Lorant, Uncle Mark Reynolds, Pierce Pettis...it's a long list.
